One of the most important pieces of the 13th century CE Treasure of Hugo d'Oignies is the reliquary of the Virgin’s Milk that takes the form of a golden dove, adorned on its breast with a large amethyst. It is now housed at the provincial museum of Ancient Arts of Namur in Belgium

The Mildenhall Treasure is a large hoard of 34 masterpieces of Roman silver tableware from the 4th century CE, and by far the most valuable Roman objects artistically and by weight of bullion in Britain. It was found at West Row in 1942, and is now housed at the British Museum
