A 3rd century CE Roman gold and sapphire diadem found in 2011 in a woman’s tomb in Colonna, Italy. Gemmological and archaeometric analyses revealed that the sapphires originated from Southeast and Southern Asia. Now housed at the Archaeological Museum in Palestrina
